Redwood Burl Bud Vase Wooden Art
This is a vintage redwood burl (knotty root) that was permit harvested, hand turned into a vase. A glass tube for a flower stem is inserted in the top. This is knotty and funky and imperfect. It's awesome. My Grandmother bought it in northern California in the 80? maybe early 90s.
It's heavy, about 5 pounds. Stands 12 inches tall and 6 inches across the base.
She said wipe it down with wood oil every so often and it stays shiny and beautiful.
