    Description

    We are offering a 180 year old plate made in Holland by Petrus Regout. The 8 1/4 inch plate is transferware with lustre hand painting. There are many marks on the back of this piece. The Reqout mark dates between 1836-1880.  This plate is free of chips, cracks, and fleabites. It is interesting that there are 3 spots with triangle spaced kiln marks. I have enclosed an image of one of the triangularly spaced spots. there are some surface scratches on the piece but is remarkable to have lived this long without damage.
