Up for sale is anew & never used
gothic Gargoyle statue
that I bought 10-11 years ago in Paris at a small studio not far from the famous Notre Dame cathedral. It’s a recreation of one of the many unique gargoyles which adorned the outside of Notre Dame--that unfortunately burned down in 2019--and
is the second of two different gargoyles I purchased
. It went into storage soon after I came back when I had to move.
(But I have way too much stuff in storage now and need to pare things down a bit...)
This measures just over 9" long and is about 4" wide at the base. And if you look at the base, there's a
smaller gargoyle
right below the feet of the big one (pics 3-6).
It's 2 gargoyles in 1
and is an interesting & unique piece; I've owned a lot of gargoyles and haven't seen one quite like this in the states--and I don't know if this one is even made anymore since Notre Dame burned down.
I believe it's made of resin and can be used outdoors (but am not entirely sure).
The statue can be hung on a wall using the metal loop embedded in the back by the base (see pic. 8, in the back by the markings). Or if you prefer, it can stand straight up on its base and be displayed that way instead.
I never used it though since I moved shortly after coming back from Paris and it ended-up in storage.
I have a 100% feedback rating so buy with confidence!
The package weighs about 2 lbs and will be shipped USPS Priority Mail to an eBay/PayPal-verified U.S. address only. (I do not ship internationally.) Payment must be made within 48 hours or I reserve the right to cancel the sale and relist it. Thank you for looking and please let me know if you have any questions. If you need more pics, let me know--before purchase!--and I'll do my best to get them to you.
Please note that eBay may charge sales tax, which it started doing in 2019, depending on where you live. I have nothing to do with it and can't keep eBay from collecting it. Sorry about that. (But if you're not paying it for now, enjoy it while you can because more & more states are jumping onto the sales tax bandwagon!)
