Custom carved Arrow of light award

Description

This Arrow of light award is custom made with places for your Scouts specific pins and a brass nameplate. The Boy Scout law adorns the top and bottom of this piece and the motto "Do your best" is proudly displayed in red  on the left with the Prominent flur de li  in silver leaf and red on the right. The arrow of light in the center has a  hand painted border in cub scout blue while the rays of the sun are layered in liquid gold leaf. It is finished with a quality stain and sealed with a three coats ofquality polyurethane. This award is 11.25 tall X 30 inches wide and 3/4 inches thick. This is no cheap factory produced work. I have 30+ hours involved in the crafting of one of these. I take a lot of pride in these.
Optional arrow upgrade: The arrow is hand made by a registered Cherokee Indian.  It is made of ash or cedar and has been rubbed with a bear fat and beeswax mixture. The tip is a real bone arrowhead and is hand fletched with wild turkey feathers. It is personalized further with your scouts individual rank stripes done in quality military style ribbons. An extra feather a couple of beads and a bear claw are added for a little extra decoration.
